Introduction

Early Career and Practice Establishment

Christel Botes qualified as a physiotherapist in 1989 at the University of Pretoria.

She began her private practice in 1991, consistently operating within the Northern suburbs of Pretoria at various locations throughout the years.

Development of Aquatic Programmes

In 2010, Christel acquired a property in Wonderboom and established a new practice, where she launched an aquatic programme to benefit her patients.

The success of the smaller aquatic practice in Wonderboom highlighted a growing demand for aquatic exercise and rehabilitation. Responding to this need, Christel purchased a second house in 2018 in Pretoria-North, which featured a 4.5 x 25-metre heated swimming pool.

Both facilities now offer physiotherapy services, aquatic exercise, and rehabilitation.

Christel works at both locations, providing care within the treatment rooms and the aquatic centres.
